Filmco Ltd. washes and recycles post-use plastic materials from commercial, retail, industrial and agricultural sources recovering valuable raw material for reuse in the European plastics manufacturing industry. In 2007 the company established operations in a 40,000 square foot facility in Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary. This state-of-the-art facility is Ireland’s only permitted waste farm plastics recycling plant and has an authorised capacity of 50,000 tonnes per annum.
Filmco has its own in-house process design and engineering capability which enables it to identify the best available technologies and to develop systems specific to the requirements of the Irish plastic film waste market. The company has made a significant investment in film plastic processing technologies and now operates one of the most advanced plastics recycling facilities in Europe.
